In cities with lights just as bright as the moon,
everyone knew that they had to leave soon.
The oceans were dry and the air got too thin.
Too late they noticed the danger they were in.

Another planet for them had to be found,
in order to live there in peace, safe and sound.
Brave astronauts, united, sought for a space
to harbour the entire human race.

Days and weeks and months and years
until the needed planet appears.
But gravity there is surprisingly strong,
all calculations they've done were wrong.

Entry in the atmosphere,
the spaceship's breaking through the air.
Beyond control, twisting fast,
crashing into the sea at last.

The spaceship sank down, broken and harmed.
Dragged down noiselessly by gigantic arms.
A hungry monster lurked in the ocean.
And the ship never got to be seen again.
